It all started when...
“Mhand & Shiraz, are a couple who first met in Taghazout back in 2014. Shiraz, originally a DOP camera woman based in London, made the move with Matilda (Shiraz's then 6-year-old daughter) to start Amayour with Mhand, a surf instructor with over ten years of experience teaching along The Atlantic coast before setting up Amayour.

We got the name from Amayour from M'hand's nickname which means full moon in berber. M’hand being a real local from the wild and stunning beaches of Tamri. He knows this coastline like no other.
Starting Amayour Surf in October 2015 and we have been growing this little project ever since; from little seeds big trees grow. With not much more than a vision, lots of hard work and dedication, and a passion to live our surf and yoga lifestyles on the coast, we started our project from the ground up nothing more than a couple of months rent.
Amayour Surf & Yoga is top rated on Tripadvisor in the Taghazout. We have our beautiful hostel, our yoga retreat house and our surf boutique shop.
